Western and International businesses have evolved through three major eras or cultures. These eras correspond to changes that have occurred interactively between industry's drive for improvement and the changes occurring in the dynamic environment of industry. None of the three cultures is sufficient for producing continuous development and regeneration much less continuous improvement.
A fourth era is emerging in the business world that is more aligned with continuous development and regeneration. All eras have been influenced by ideas from university professors, sociological and psychological writers, scientists, and management consultants as their thinking has evolved. Industries are at different stages of organizational development in passing through these eras, as are different companies and different units within each of these companies. Many companies who think they are state-of-the-art will be surprised how out of touch they are.
This presentation describes the previous three cultures, still in existence in most of the world, and the shift that is necessary to produce a culture appropriate to continuous development and regenerative practices. Order Form >
