Carol Sanford has been leading major consulting efforts in both Fortune 500 and new economy businesses for over 25 years. She has worked for companies such as Colgate, DuPont, Weyerhaeuser, Yahoo, Silicon Graphic, Agilent and many others. Carol has 25 years of global experience helping businesses and organizations build consciousness capability to position themselves strategically, develop leadership to execute strategy, and redesign work to gain and keep competitive advantage in the marketplace and community. She is the founding Executive Director of the Institute for Strategic Leadership at Washington State University ’s Vancouver campus. Carol has published over 100 works in 10 languages, including a column in Executive Excellence, Stephen Covey’s newsletter.

Daren R. Henderson has over 15 years of senior management and executive level experience in both entrepreneurial and corporate environments. In 1990 Mr. Henderson founded his first company, which he grew organically and positioned for successful purchase by a public company within six years. Since then, Mr. Henderson has served as President or Vice President of companies in the Aviation, Advertising and Ground Transportation industries. Daren’s expertise spans business, financial, information and human systems competencies. His functional expertise includes the areas of marketing, strategic planning, business, product and organizational development, operations and general management. He has collaborated with InterOctave principals on business improvement projects at Silicon Graphics (SGI) and Intel. Daren understands, from experience, the key role that senior leaders play in organizational change efforts and the challenges and rewards associated with effectively managing those efforts.

Pamela Mang draws on 25 years of consulting experience in the U.S. And Europe, specializing in LivingSystems Thinking and educational and human development processes. She has authored several articles and book chapters on living systems approaches to design, development and organization including: Dancing with Living Systems—Designing for Life, Fox HavenVoices of the Land; “Regenerative Design and the Evolution of the Sustainable Design Field”, The New Paradigm in Business; “New Wine, Old Bottles—The Dilemma of Organization Change”, The New Business of Business.  She developed the curriculum for “Sustainability—Bringing the Challenge Home”, a World Business Academy dialogue series. Published research papers include reports for the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory on barriers and opportunities for growing public support for green building and solar energy solutions. She is a principal and founder of Regenesis.

Kathleen Wood has worked with Fortune 500 companies across the US, India, Thailand, China and Europe to design, develop and deliver leadership development globally. Her focus is on leading organizational change efforts integrating triple bottom line thinking into global business models. She has worked with organizations such as GE, Nike and the Organic Exchange, which is a collaborative effort between large and small brands (including: Patagonia, Timberland, Cutter & Buck, Marks and Spencer, H&M, REI, Hanna Anderson, Nike), suppliers, NGO’s and the government. Their mission is to develop the global market for organic cotton.

Rachel Roca has experience as a business owner in the retail, wholesale and import fields as well as a staff manager, engineer and customer liason for Pacific Telesis.

Dyan Montesclaros has worked in large scale change efforts with functional work groups to make improvements to their work and processes. She works with groups on cultural issues such as integration of regional units and merged companies.

Glyn Thomas has worked much of his career as an Operations Manager transforming systems and working environments in support of organizational missions. He co-founded Avatar Inc in 1995 working with clients to build their leadership capabilities. His clients have included, Nike, LSI Logic, SGI, Inspiration Software, PacifiCorp among other businesses, non-profit organizations and public agencies.

Sue Thomas works with senior leadership teams within new and well-established businesses to chart the strategic direction of their organizations. She has guided the change efforts of newly merged or reconfigured organizations to blend their cultures and employee populations. As a former Director of Human Resources at Outward Bound, she developed management systems to support west coast operations. In 1995, she co-founded Avatar Inc. whose clients include Nike, LSI Logic, SGI, Inspiration Software, PacifiCorp among other businesses, non-profit organizations and public agencies including the National Park Service.

Cheryl Vandemore is a branding, positioning and messaging consultant. She has extensive experience in the technology, healthcare, consumer and non-profit sectors working with clients including Sony, Intel, PGE, Nestle, WebMD and dozens of fast growth companies. In 1994, she and partners started a creative agency called “Elvis & Bonaparte” which won national recognition as an Ad Age “Top 20 Creative Boutique” as well as business awards for seven years of profitable growth. Cheryl herself has been recognized as a “40 under 40” Oregon business and community leader and is a lively participant in national and regional conferences focused on the future.
