For decades, we consulted with Fortune 500 companies with lofty goals,
international frontiers, and/or disasters on their hands. We did not
provide run-of-the-mill consulting for reasons that worked in both
directions. From a client standpoint, it was safest to use a conventional
consultancy for jobs where incremental results were expected. There
was no reason to use InterOctave Development Group with our weird ideas
like systems thinking, complexity theories, developmental approaches
and so on. From our point-of-view this worked well, we attracted the
clients with the audacious vision and/or the "we’ll try
anything" desperation. In both types of situations we succeeded,
over and over again, beyond their or our wildest dreams. Please read

Today our clients represent large and small companies across nearly
every industry. They hire us because the international frontiers are
coming to them or they find that they seem to be shrinking even as
their productivity increases and don’t know how to grow without
risking their existing corporate (and career!) health. Of course there
are still visionaries around, too – eager to take their “good” unit,
business or multi-national and ask “I wonder what this baby can
really do.” We still don’t do run-of-the-mill consulting – we
build organizational consciousness.
We believe it is the most important infrastructure in the 21 st century
and the best predictor of business success.
